This book has been aimed at revealing the results of the research and technological attempts of the researchers participating in the international SCIENCE-CONSCIOUSNESS event corresponding to the Symposium: Food security, nutrition and sustainable agriculture, for its generalization by agricultural producers, storage entities of food products, in the training of professionals related to food production. Agriculture uses a series of measures to control and prevent pests, weeds and disease-causing organisms, especially through human interaction, such as the production of foods of plant and animal origin, as well as international trade. Practical contributions are conceived related to agroecological approaches in the training of professionals and oriented to the methodological work of teachers and producers. Other elements undertaken are focused on irrigation management, the evaluation of natural products as stimulants in plant growth and pest prevention, the effect of arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi and magnetically treated water. Work related to Legislation and food sovereignty, economic policy, aimed at proposals for improvements in production, storage and marketing, food self-sufficiency with a sustainable approach and the quality of work life, food-nutrition and health. Among the main problems that the research results address are those related to regulatory bases, human resources, economic and financial management, natural resource management, knowledge management for the development of food systems and those related to a continuous environmental training process. The objective of the written text: are results oriented in the search to reestablish a more ecological rationality in agricultural production, based on own resources, which promotes the development of a more self-sufficient and sustainable agriculture, taking into account the knowledge of the agroecosystem and the principles that regulate its operation.
